“I moved to the great city of Cincinnati after completing my master's degree. I met my husband, a Cincinnati native, in college and we married shortly after. Having lived in a number of states and cities, Cincinnati has stolen my heart with its rich history, small town feel, and endless restaurants and coffee shops. A hobby of mine is trying new things. From running a half marathon (and trust me, I am not a runner) to jumping out of airplanes, delivering babies in the car and everything in between - I love opportunities where I have to exercise courage.

I am professionally licensed here in Ohio. I obtained my training and education at Ashland Theological Seminary receiving a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I did undergraduate coursework at Ohio University where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

I specialize in working with couples in all different stages of their relationships: engaged, married, working through affairs, or hoping to improve their sex lives. I’ve completed levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, am a facilitator of the 7 Principles for Making Marriage Work workshop, and am trained to work with couples navigating trauma and affairs all through the Gottman Institute. Additionally, I I am a sex therapy associate trained through the Institute of Sexual Wholeness.

Sex therapy can feel scary and deeply personal. My job is to help couples begin to dialogue about their sex lives and equip them with the tools necessary to improve sexual pleasure and satisfaction. I have training addressing issues related to orgasms, painful sex, erectile disfunction, premature ejaculation, desire discrepancies, and sexual anxiety. In a world full of myths surrounding sex, I am passionate about sharing truths and aiding couples so they can have vibrant mutually satisfying sex lives!

Someone I knew once described counseling like this: you're the driver of the car and I'm in the passenger seat holding a map. My role is to assist you in navigating life but ultimately where we go is completely up to you. It is my goal to build a therapeutic relationship in which you experience the freedom to disclose and process some of the hardships in life and work together to cultivate skills to get you where you want to go. I like to focus and build upon strengths you already possess as we navigate the journey.”
